What is your major and why? Kinesiology/Physical Therapy. I like the fact that what my career would do is actually use my knowledge of my particular area of interest to HELP people.

Favorite Place on Campus: The University Center

Something the average person doesn't know about me: I try to play the guitar and love watching the same movie over and over until I know every line.

If you had to give up all your possessions but one, what would you keep? My Family

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Anyone with great importance so I can see what it feels like to have that many people look up to you....or are at least afraid of you.

Who has influenced you the most in your life? My family and coaches who actually push me

Name three people, (dead or alive) that you would like to have dinner with: Vida Guerra, My Grandparents

Why did you choose to come to SIUE? I wanted to be relatively close to home, but far away enough to experience the college life.

How different are practices at SIUE compared to your high school? Very different, we actually practice here in college, and actually break a sweat during practice.

Do you have any superstitions before competing? Yes, I have to tie my right shoe first, then the left, touch the logo on both shoes, then say a prayer. It seems to help me calm down.

Which teammate is most likely to be a head coach one day? Jeff Fearday or Jon Bannister

The best things about SIUE track and field are: You actually get to know your competitors and it is a head to head compitition. So if you are beaten by your oponent, it is just becasue they had a better day than you did, or they are just better. There is no room for any type of excuse at all. The feeling you get when you are winning the race and everyone is yelling is a great feeling too. The bonding that goes on with your team in one year is amazing and it seems like one big family.
