October 21, 2007 Cougars Settle for Tie at Indy           INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- A long weekend came to an end Sunday with a 1-1 tie for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men's soccer against Indianapolis.           The Cougars, 10-3-2 overall, finished the regular season with a 9-2-2 mark in Great Lakes Valley Conference play. SIUE will be the No. 2 seed for the GLVC Tournament, which begins next Sunday at 3:30 p.m.           The same two teams will go at it next Sunday in the quarterfinal round of the GLVC Tournament. The only difference will be the venue, this time at SIUE's Korte Stadium.           Sunday's regular season finale looked suspiciously similar to Friday's loss at Saint Joseph's. Indianapolis took the lead at 39:06 when John Higgins scored his fifth goal of the season.           SIUE would go on to dominate the shots in the second half, outshooting the Greyhounds 13-3 and 17-9 overall.           Despite a red card by SIUE's Zach Bauer in the 78th minute, SIUE's Mike Jones scored his third goal of the season at 87:29 past Indianapolis goalkeeper Michael Crane, who had collected 10 saves. Indianapolis would take the only three shots of the two overtime periods.                     -siue cougars-
