Attarian, Cougars Blank Drury
          SPRINGFIELD, MO. -- Dustin Attarian doubled his goal total for the season with two tallies Friday as No. 24-ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville blanked Drury 2-0.
          The Cougar victory handed Drury its first loss of the season. Drury had outscored its first six opponents 21-2 but managed just two shots off SIUE's defense.
          SIUE improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury is now 6-1 overall and 2-1 in league play.
          The game was marred by six red cards in the game, all by Drury. It all started at 11:57 when Peter Higgins was red carded followed by both the Drury head coach and the assistant coach.
          Attarian and the Cougars didn't score until 60:22 on an assist by Ryan Wilhelm. Attarian added an unassisted goal at the 83 minute mark.
          SIUE outshot Drury 20-2. Attarian and Bob Ridder each collected five shots for the Cougars.
          Next up for SIUE is a showdown at No. 13 Rockhurst in Kansas City on Sunday. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
