August 27, 2007 SIUE Held Scoreless at Christian Brothers           MEMPHIS, TENN. -- Despite outshooting its competition 9-5, the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men's soccer team came up empty Friday at Christian Brothers.           The No. 13-ranked Cougars fell 1-0 to Christian Brothers, opening the 2007 season on the road.           Robert Mingo scored the game's lone goal at 60:31 on a rebound after a blocked free kick by Matt Werasko.           SIUE put just two shots on goal against CBU goalkeeper Daniel Foster. The Cougars collected seven corner kicks and were unable to convert into goals. Benny Jeffery and Dustin Attarian each had two shots for SIUE.           The Cougars are now idle until Sept. 7 at Korte Stadium. SIUE faces Kentucky Wesleyan to start the Great Lakes Valley Conference season. Game time is 7:30 p.m.                     -siue cougars-
