Overtime Goal Lifts NKU Over SIUE 3-2 in NCAA Tournament
         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Braden Bishop punched the ball in for Northern Kentucky University as it defeated Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 3-2 in overtime, winning the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Men's Soccer Regional Championship.
         Northern Kentucky, 16-2-3, advances to the national quarterfinals next week against Lincoln Memorial. The heartbreaking loss followed tight battle between the Cougars, 15-4-3, and the Norse. Bishop scored 2:42 into the first overtime ending SIUE's string of Great Lakes Region titles at two.
         NKU took the lead early with an unassisted goal by Tony Capurro from 10 yards out 28:20 into the game.
         SIUE's John Matthews struck back with a goal 32:44 into the game with an assist going to Victor Pacheco. Matthews headed the ball off Pacheco's corner kick.
         Just less than two minutes later, NKU's Capurro struck again with another unassisted goal off of a restart that put them up 2-1 to end the first half.
         The Cougars tied it in the second half with a corner kick by Victor Pacheco that deflected off of NKU's goalie Andy Ortman 69:00 into the game.
         Bishop scored the game-winning goal for NKU off of an assist from Dan Impellizzeri.
