Cougars Tie Northern Kentucky 1-1
         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The No. 11-ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville tied a tough Northern Kentucky team 1-1 in a double overtime game.
         After a slow start, Northern Kentucky scored in the 49th minute of the game to take the lead. Brandon Bishop put the Norse on the board with an assist from Tony Ray.
         SIUE freshmen Kevin Bielicki tied the game on a header in the 60th minute with an assist from Dustin Attarian. Bielicki also lead the team with two shots on goal.
         The game also extended SIUE's streak of Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season games without a loss. The streak is now 37 games with a 32-0-5 record during the stretch. SIUE is now 2-1-3 overall and 2-0-1 in the GLVC. NKU stands at 4-1-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the GLVC.
         The Cougars play Friday at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. Match time is 1:15 p.m.
