EASTSIDERZ The Eastsiderz are a group of Cougar soccer fans that has grown over the past few years who love the game and enjoy a good time. The group was founded by past alumni and students like Colin McAnarney, Shane Teater, Donny Sheehan, George Van Dyke, John Deinowski, Angie Huneke, Dan Morhaus, Kevin Corrigan, Anthony "Bird" Barnett, and numerous others. Josh Richardson, a former player for SIUE, is heading up the Eastsiderz with themes for the games and other fun activities. They’ve had a great response from those that come to the games and have had numerous new fans participating in the theme nights. While the Eastsiderz have a keen understanding of the game, all students are encouraged to get involved in the spirit of collegiate sports. The Eastsiderz also often tailgate with their paper cups before games and encourage others to join in. NO HOOLIGANS ALLOWED While good times are encouraged, we don’t want things to get out of hand.
