October 23, 2005 Cougars Win Overtime Thriller Over UM-Rolla          EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men's soccer team had to come from behind to defeat Missouri-Rolla 2-1 in double overtime on Sunday.          Ross Beveridge scored his sixth goal of the year off a corner kick at the 108:23 mark to give the Cougars the victory.          SIUE improved to 15-1-1 and 11-0-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Cougars won for the ninth straight time and will be the No. 1 seed in the GLVC Tournament.          The Cougars will face No. 8 seed Bellarmine in the quaterfinals next Sunday.          SIUE fell behind the Miners 1-0 after Nick Toeller scored in the 15th minute on a header.          The Cougars grinded out a goal as Mike Banner netted his sixth of the year to tie the game in the 81st minute.          Miners goalkeeper Mike McNamee made 10 saves in the contest.          SIUE outshot UM-Rolla 26-15 in the contest.          The Cougas continue their streak of 34 games with out a loss in GLVC regular season action. SIUE is 30-0-4 in conference regular season play over that stretch.          SIUE will be back in action on Tuesday as Southern Indiana will take on the Cougars at 4 p.m. at the SIUE practice field behind Korte Stadium.                   -siue cougars-
