October 14, 2005 Penalty Kick Lifts Cougars Past NKU          Wilder, KY. - Victor Pacheco's penalty kick in the 61st minute lifted second-ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville past Northern Kentucky 1-0 on Friday night.          SIUE won for the sixth straight time running its record to to 12-1-1 overall and 8-0-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Norse fall to 10-3-1, and 6-3-1 in the conference.          Pacheco's goal is his team-leading seventh of the year. He ranks first on the team with 18 points.          Goalie Nicholas Frasca notched his sixth shutout of the season making four saves on six shots.          The Cougars are now unbeaten in their last 31 GLVC regular season contests.          SIUE will face Bellarmine on Sunday in its final regular season road game of the year.                   -siue cougars-
