October 9, 2005 Cougars Edge UWP 1-0          EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. - Victor Pacheco's goal just 13:41 in the game lifted second-ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville past No. 11 UW-Parkside 1-0 on Sunday at Korte Stadium.          SIUE won for the fifth straight time improving to 11-1-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Rangers fall to 10-2-1, and 6-2-1 in the league.          Pacheco's goal came off a restart from 19 yards out after a foul just outside the box. He leads the team in goals (6) and points (16).          Goalie Nicholas Frasca notched his fifth shutout of the season making three saves on five shots.          SIUE held the advantage in shots at 9-5, with the Rangers outshooting the Cougars 5-4 in the second half.          THe Cougars are now unbeaten in their last 30 GLVC regular season contests.          SIUE heads to the road this week for traveling to Northern Kentucky and Bellarmine.                   -siue cougars-
