Men's Players of the Week

Kentucky Wesleyan senior guard Marlon Parmer earned his fourth consecutive GLVC Player of the Week honor in leading his Panther squad to consecutive road victories at SIU Edwardsville and Quincy. Parmer averaged 23.0 points, 8.5 assists, 7.5 rebounds and shot 51.7 percent from the field as the Panthers wrapped up another GLVC regular season title. He began the week by registering his 11th double-double of the season, scoring 20 points and collecting 13 assists as KWC defeated SIUE, 91-60. He came back on Saturday to pour in 26 points, grab six rebounds and four more assists as KWC ran its record to 25-2 with a 110-93 triumph over Quincy. It is the sixth time this season Parmer has earned POW honors. His numbers for the week: 46 points (23.0 ppg), 15-29 FGs (51.7 percent), 6-12 three pointers (50 percent), 10-12 FTs (83.3 percent), 15 rebounds (7.5), and 17 assists (8.5). He is from Inglewood, California.
