Bellarmine - With four games left on its schedule, BU still has a chance to make the GLVC Tournament. The Knights (4-12) are just one-half game behind Quincy (5-12) with four games left and two big games at home this week. Indianapolis will visit on Thursday and St. Joseph’s - a team battling BU for a spot in the tournament - comes to Louisville on Saturday ... BU leads the GLVC in FT percentage, hitting an outstanding 76.7 percent of its attempts. Junior Justin Cornell leads the way, hitting a conference-leading 90.9 percent of his FT tries (60-66).

Indianapolis - Indianapolis will play its final four GLVC games on the road, where it is 3-3 in league play and 5-3 overall this season. The Greyhounds should stay seventh in the NCAA II Great Lakes Region after going 1-1 last week. The Hounds are seeking their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1997. Junior forward Rodney Rollins scored a career-high 28 points vs. Southern Indiana on Saturday. Sophomore guard David Logan needs 62 points to become the 15th player in school history to reach the 500-plateau in a season. Senior Eric Rhodes scored a career-high 12 points in Thursday's 71-67 win over Missouri-St. Louis. Junior center Jason Wright is third in NCAA II in field goal accuracy (.675). Sophomore forward Ryan Hixson could return to action next Thursday after missing the past five games.

Kentucky Wesleyan - Kentucky Wesleyan College head men's basketball coach Ray Harper won his 200th career collegiate win on Saturday afternoon as the No. 4 Panthers defeated No. 10 Northern Kentucky, 71-68, to reach 200 wins faster than the NCAA Division I record holder and Hall of Fame coach Clair Bee ... Kentucky Wesleyan's 89-85 victory at Bellarmine marked their seventh consecutive and 29th 20-win season in their 92-year history ... Eugene Dabney blocked four shots at Northern Kentucky to set a school single-season record with 63. The old record was 60, set by Tyrus Boswell last year ... For the second straight week Marlon Parmer led NCAA Division II in assists (8.5). Eugene Dabney was 14th in NCAA blocks (2.6). KWC is 5th in offense (89.2), 5th in scoring margin (+17.1), 6th in won-loss pct. (90.5), 12th in FG percentage (50.0) and 12th in FG Pct. defense (39.1) ... The Panthers were ranked No. 4 in the NABC/Division II Bulletin national rankings and No. 2 in the NCAA Great Lakes Region poll ... Panthers hold a two-game lead in conference with four games remaining.

Lewis - Lewis tied its season high of 12 three-point baskets (12-of-21) in Saturday's win over SIUE ... in their last four games, the Flyers are 44-of-88 (50 percent) from 3-point range and have made at least 10 treys in each of those contests. Lewis has reached double figures in 3-point baskets seven times this season after accomplishing the feat just three times in 32 games last season ... Lewis shot 63.3 percent (31-of-49) overall vs. SIUE, marking the fifth time this season the Flyers have eclipsed the 60-percent mark ... Demitrius Hunter scored a career-high 23 points (8-of-10 FG) vs. SIUE. Hunter is shooting 71.8 percent (28-of-39) from the floor and averaging 18.3 points in his last four games ... Randy Wright scored a career-high 15 points (7-of-8 FG) vs. SIUE, and Stan Strong had a career-high eight assists ... Harley Piercy tallied 20 points vs. SIUE (7-of-10 FG) and tied his career high of five 3-pointers (5-of-7) ... leading rebounder Sidney Holmes, who was diagnosed with pneumonia, hopes to be back for this Saturday's showdown at Southern Indiana ... with two home games remaining, the Flyers are the only GLVC team unbeaten at home this season (13-0). Dating back to the beginning of last season, Lewis is 25-3 at Neil Carey Arena.

Missouri St. Louis – The UMSL men’s basketball team saw its losing streak extend to 15 games with two losses this past week, falling at Indianapolis and at Saint Joseph’s… that streak is the longest losing skid in school history… Ronnie Banks had a big week, scoring 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting at Indianapolis and followed that up by shooting 12-of-19, including 5-of-9 from three-point range, and scoring a career high 35 points at Saint Joseph’s… The Rivermen will not make the GLVC tournament this season after having qualified in each of the first three seasons under Coach Mark Bernsen.

Northern Kentucky - NKU's 20-game home win streak was halted Thursday night by Southern Indiana during an 87-85 overtime loss ... NKU's 71-68 setback against Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday marked the first time since the 1993-94 season that the Norse have been swept on a GLVC homestand. In February of 1994, the Norse dropped consecutive home games against Bellarmine and Kentucky State ... sophomore guard Mike Kelsey extended his streak of games scoring in double figures to 16 by finishing with 16 points against Kentucky Wesleyan.

Quincy - The Quincy University men's basketball team dropped a pair of GLVC games on this road this past week, falling at St. Joseph's College and at Wisconsin-Parkside. The Hawks are in a battle for the 8th and final GLVC Tournament spot, as QU finishes the regular season with three home games. The Cougars of SIU Edwardsville come to town this Thursday, and Quincy finishes with Southern Indiana and Kentucky Wesleyan next week. Senior center Brian McNeil became the 5th all-time leading scorer in school history with a game-high 16 points Saturday at Wisconsin-Parkside. McNeil now has 1,432 career points, needing 45 more to become the 4th all-time leading scorer in QU history.

Saint Joseph’s - The Pumas broke a six-game losing skid this week with wins over Quincy and UMSL ... Jamie Holden tied the school career record for steals, collecting his 202nd theft against UMSL on Saturday. He needs 12 more assists for the single-season school record ... Hodges Smith moved up three spots to 15th on the SJC career scoring list. He now has 1,196 career points ... Three SJC players had double-doubles on Saturday, including senior Noel Raney, who had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the first of his career ... The Pumas' 10 wins represent a two-game improvement over last season. 

SIU Edwardsville - SIUE is 1 1/2 games behind eighth-place Quincy with four games left on its schedule. In order to make the eight-team GLVC Tournament, the Cougars must win and hope for some help. It will not be easy. The good news is they are playing the team they need to beat on Thursday in order to have a chance to make the post-season. SIUE will travel to Quincy, before heading to UMSL on Saturday. Both are winnable games despite the fact SIUE is 1-10 on the road this season. SIUE closes out the season, hosting KWC and Bellarmine.

Southern Indiana - The sweep of the Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis road was the first for USI since 1992-93 ... USI is now 2-0 when an extra period is needed after the overtime win over NKU last Thursday. The Eagles are 22-14 in overtime since the beginning of the program in 1970-71 ... USI moved its road record over .500 for the first time this year with the win over NKU and is 6-4 overall this year away from the PAC ... Senior forward Diond're Givens with his 29 points against NKU moved into 8th all-time in scoring at USI ... Sophomore forward Dennis Coutee recorded his season best with 27 points against NKU.

Wisconsin-Parkside - The Ranger men are now on a three-game winning streak, thanks to a pair of home wins last week. The team handled SIU-Edwardsville, 73-59, and then beat Quincy, 70-50. Dean Pogodzinski has begun to make an impact for the Rangers. He scored 15 against the Cougars and had another 15-point effort against Quincy. In the Quincy tilt, Glen Barlow and Brian Maastricht also scored 15 points in a balanced Ranger attack. The Rangers, the GLVC's top defensive team, have a brutal schedule to close out the season with games at Southern Indiana and Kentucky Wesleyan and home games versus Northern Kentucky and Indianapolis.
