November 3, 2007 Women's NCAA Great Lakes Regional Results Grand Valley Wins 2007 Great Lakes Regional           EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Grand Valley State won the 2007 NCAA Division II Great Lakes Cross Country Regional in convincing fashion Saturday, outdistancing runner-up Wayne State 40-117.           Wayne State junior Rachelle Malette won the individual title with a time of 21 minutes, 12.33 seconds in the 6,000-meter race held on the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.           UW-Parkside's Jessica Lamp finished nearly 20 seconds behind Malette for second place.           Grand Valley State, Wayne State, UW-Parkside and Southern Indiana finished as the top four teams and advanced to the national championships to be held at Missouri Southern State in Joplin, Mo., on Nov. 17.           Seniors Julianne Hoekzema, of Northern Kentucky, and LeAnn Sarka, of Indianapolis, also advanced to the national meet as individuals. Hoekzema placed fifth overall in 21:41.96 while Sarka finished 11th in 22:06.76.           -siue-                     -siue cougars-
