September 5, 2006 Cross Country Travels to Bradley           The SIUE men's and women's cross country teams travel to the Bradley Open for a Friday evening meet at Detweiler Park.           The first race is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.           Both the men's and women's teams placed second among non-Division I schools at the Washington University Early Bird this past Saturday.           For the women, freshman Kayla Brown (Petersburg) turned in the top time at the 4,000-meter event. Brown's time of 15 minutes, 12.70 seconds was the fourth best among non-Division I schools. Junior Kelly Flounders (Homer Glen) finished sixth in 15:30.00.           The SIUE men also place second as a team, paced by Erik Steffens (Moline). His time of 19:25.90 in the 6,000-meter event was the third-fastest time of the day. Senior Justin Crain (McLeansboro) ran for the fifth-best time at 19:39.20.           -siue cougars-
