Women’s Cross Country Finishes 13th At Border Wars
          EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. - The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women’s cross country team placed 13th at the Illinois/Missouri Border Wars last weekend.
          The Cougars scored 383 points as Washington (Mo.) won the race with 78.
          SIUE’s top runner was Heather Zipparro (Mt. Prospect) who came in 48th with a time of 19 minutes, 54.50 seconds in the 5,000 meter race.
          Freshman Michelle Meador (Bower) came in 64th for the Cougars with a mark of 20:22.47.
          Fellow freshman Elizabeth Williams (Mt. Vernon) placed 78th in a time of 20:49.36.
          SIUE travels to Decatur for the Millikin Invitational on Friday night.
