SIUE Places Eighth at Regionals
       HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's cross country season came to a close today with an eighth-place showing at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.
       SIUE would have had to finish in the top 5 to advance to the NCAA Championships.
       Senior Amanda Bozue (Joliet), participating in her final cross country meet, led the Cougars on the 6,000 meter course with a 28th place time of 23 minutes, 13 seconds.
       Carrie Carducci (Powell, Ohio) finished 32nd overall in a time of 23:25. Breanne Steffens (Moline) finished 39th in a time of 23:43.
       Grand Valley State took home the team title while Northern Michigan's Caitlin Compton won the individual title.
