SIUE Places Seventh at Regionals
       HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville men's cross country season came to a close today with a seventh-place showing at the Great Lakes NCAA Regional.
       SIUE would have had to finish in the top 2 to advance to the NCAA Championships.
       Great Lakes Valley Conference Freshman of the Year Brian Taghon (East Moline) led the Cougars on the 10,000 meter course, finishing 20th in a time of 33 minutes, 8 seconds.
       Ryan Boyll (Normal) finished 24th with a time of 33:15. Nick Campbell (Charleston) came in 26th in a time of 33:19.
       Jason Olszowka (Lockport) capped his cross country career with a 49th place time of 34:23.
       Grand Valley State University took home the team championship while Ashland's Nick Cordes won the individual crown.
