May 9, 2008 Bunner Named First Team Academic All-District         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville shortstop Cory Bunner (Jacksonville) has been named to the 2008 ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District V baseball team.         Bunner, a senior shortstop, was named to the first team in the College Division. His named will be added to the list of nominees to become Academic All-American.         One of the top infielders in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Bunner holds a .351 batting average with a team-leading 12 stolen bases.         His team finished the regular season with a 24-24 record and a spot in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed in the West Division.         Below is the complete list of Academic All-District winners.
