March 21, 2008 Offense Prevails in SIUE-RU Split           KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville split its third straight Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader Friday at Rockhurst.           Rockhurst won game one 11-10 while SIUE dominated the nightcap 16-5.           SIUE, now 9-8 and 3-3 in the GLVC, pounded out double-digit runs in both games and for the sixth and seventh time this season.           The Cougars rapped 21 hits in the nightcap. Ben Bartley had three and drove home a team-best five runs in game two. Catcher Ryan Schiever went 4 for 4 with four RBIs for the Cougars.           Aren Cummings went five innings in the second game to even his record at 2-2.           Rockhurst, 8-13 overall and 2-4 in the GLVC, rallied for three runs in the eighth inning to capture game one. Cory Coquillard drove home three runs for the Hawks, including the eventual game-winner on a walk in the eighth.           The same two teams battle in a noon doubleheader Saturday at Loyola Park.                   -siue cougars-
