Cougars Split Games with Flyers
          EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball team split a pair of games with Lewis Sunday.
          The Cougars are now 8-7 overall and 2-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action. Lewis stands at 5-6 overall and 2-2 in the GLVC.
          In game one, Lewis rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The winning run scored when reliever Nick Gruver hit Bryan Druktenis with the bases loaded.
          The Cougars used some late offense in the nightcap to power themselves to victory. Ben Bartley, Adam Eggemeyer and Josh Street all provided RBI hits in the top of the ninth inning.
          David Scott (Edwardsville) picked up his second win of the season with the victory.
          SIUE next travels to Cape Girardeau, Mo., to take on Southeast Missouri. The single game is scheduled for Wednesday at 6 pm.
