May 10, 2007 Bunner Named Academic All-District         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville shortstop Cory Bunner (Jacksonville) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District V baseball team.         Bunner, a junior shortstop, was named to the first team in the College Division. His named will be added to the list of nominees to become Academic All-American.         One of the top infielders in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Bunner ended the regular season with a team-leading .391 batting average (with wood bats) and 15 stolen bases.         His team finished the regular season with a 35-13 record and is ranked 26th in the the nation by Collegiate Baseball. SIUE is ranked fourth in the Great Lakes Region.         Below is the complete list of Academic All-District winners.
