April 29, 2007 Cougars Win Seventh Straight         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball made it seven in a row with a 12-2 win Sunday over Lewis at Roy Lee Field.         During its four game series, SIUE outscored Lewis 45-4 and improved its record to 32-13 overall and 23-10 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Lewis fell to 5-43 overall and 4-31 in the GLVC.         James Kulovitz had a big day at the plate for SIUE, hitting 3 for 5, with one run scored and an RBI.         Daniel Thomson scored three runs, along with two hits and an RBI.         Both Steve Doll and Dustin Brooks contributed two RBIs each.         Nine different Cougars total contributed RBIs in the game.         Gerad Bryan picked up the win for SIUE with his seven inning four strikeout performance. He improved his record to 6-1. Chris Williams recorded the loss for Lewis.         SIUE will continue GLVC play Tuesday with a doubleheader against Drury at 4 p.m. at Roy Lee Field. The first game of the doubleheader will be a GLVC game while the second is slated as a non-conference battle.                 -siue cougars-
