April 28, 2007 Cougars Win Sixth Straight         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball swept its doubleheader with Lewis Saturday 6-0 and 9-0 at Roy Lee Field.         The two wins made it six straight for the Cougars, who also have won nine out of their last 10 games. The sweep brought SIUE to 31-13 record overall and 22-10 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Lewis fell to 5-42 overall and 4-30 in the GLVC.         In the first game, SIUE was led by Dustin Brooks who was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. James Kulovitz added two hits, two RBIs and one run.         Luke Vine earned the shutout with his six-strikeout performance, improving his record to 4-2 on the season. Lewis' Jon Guzzo took up home the loss.         SIUE's offensive attack continued in the second game. Cory Bunner led the Cougars in the second half of the doubleheader hitting 4 for 5 with three RBIs.         Michael DalPozzo added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored.         Mike White earned SIUE's second shutout win of the day and finished with seven strikeouts. White improved his record to 3-1. Lewis starter Tim Harmatys recorded the loss.         SIUE will play Lewis again Sunday at Noon at Roy Lee Field.                 -siue cougars-
