April 27, 2007 Cougars Pummel Flyers 18-2         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- SIUE made easy work of Lewis University Friday night with an 18-2 win at Roy Lee Field.         The win, a non-Great Lakes Valley Conference game, brought Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to 29-13 overall while Lewis fell to 5-40.         In the 18-2 win, SIUE had 17 hits and no errors while Lewis had only four hits and seven errors.         The Cougars were led by Steve Doll who hit 4 for 5 on the evening with four RBIs and three runs scored.         Ben Bartley also had a good night, hitting 3 for 5 with two runs scored.         Patrick Keller picked up the win for the Cougars with nine strikeouts, improving his record to 1-2 on the season. Lewis' Adam Stabosz took home the loss which dropped him to 1-8 on the season.         SIUE will play Lewis in a GLVC doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. at Roy Lee Field.                 -siue cougars-
