March 30, 2007 SIUE Defeats KWC 6-2         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball team beat Kentucky Wesleyan College 6-2 Friday night at Roy Lee Field.         The non-conference win put the Cougars at 15-7 on the season while KWU fell to 8-19 overall on the season.         The Cougars were led by Cory Bunner who had three RBIs while going 2-for-4 in the game.         SIUE broke the game open with a three-run second inning which included runs by Daniel Thomson, Jim Grant and Michael DalPazzo. The Cougars added additional runs in the sixth, seventh, and eight innings.         Zach Everist improved his record to 2-2 in five innings of work while KWC's Chris Burton dropped to 0-6.         The Cougars will play KWC again Saturday in a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m. at Roy Lee Field.                 -siue cougars-
