March 25, 2007 SIUE Takes Two From NKU         EDWARDSVILL, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville took two straight from Northern Kentucky University in their doubleheader Sunday.         With the two wins, the SIUE baseball team improved to 12-7 overall and 7-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while NKU dropped to 8-15 overall and 7-5 in GLVC play. Only the first game of the doubleheader counted in the league standings.         SIUE won the first game and only GLVC conference game of the day 4-3. The Cougars took the nightcap 8-3.         The Cougars were led by Ryan Czyz, who was 3 for 3 with a single, double, triple and a walk.         SIUE and NKU were tied at 3-3 going into the bottom of the eighth when James Kulovitz's solo home run put SIUE up for good.         Adam Schneider recorded the win for SIUE while NKU's Josh Lueke took home the loss.         In the second game, Czyz continued his hot streak with a home run in the third along with three RBIs and two runs scored. Czyz finished the day hitting 5 for 7 during the two games.         Kulovitz added two RBIs while Cory Bunner and Brent Rynearson contributed one each in SIUE's 8-3 win. SIUE rallied for six runs in the bottom of the sixth.         Gerald Bryan earned the win while NKU's Matt Winterhalter received the loss.         SIUE is schedule to play UW-Parkside Wednesday in a doubleheader in Kenosha, Wis., at 1 p.m.                 -siue cougars-
