March 24, 2007 Game 1 Boxscore Game 2 Boxscore SIUE Drops Two To NKU         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball team dropped two in their doubleheader against Northern Kentucky University Saturday.         The two losses put SIUE at 10-7 overall and 6-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference while NKU improved to 8-13 overall and 7-4 in the GLVC.         The Norse notched a big lead early with a six-run second inning in the first game. NKU then added another run in the third, and SIUE lost 7-0.         NKU's Matt Marksbury earned the win while pitching a complete game two-hitter and SIUE's Adam Tallman took the loss.         In the second game, SIUE was down early after a lead off home run by Kory Lonergan.         The Cougars struck back in the third when Cory Bunner doubled home Dustin Brooks.         NKU scored the game winning run in the eight. Jon Back's sacrifice bunt forced Chris Nann home.         Nathan Jones earned the win for NKU while SIUE's James Hertel received the loss.         The Cougars and Norse will face off in another doubleheader Sunday at noon at Ray Lee Field. The first game, which will be a nine-inning contest, will be a GLVC game. The other game will be a non-conference matchup.                 -siue cougars-
