June 7, 2006 SIUE Pitcher Clay Zavada Drafted by Arizona Diamondbacks         (EDWARDSVILLE, IL.) Clay Zavada (Streator), a member of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's top-ranked pitching staff, has been drafted in the 30th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.         Zavada helped the SIUE baseball team to a 40-19-1 record this past season. He was the 897th player selected in the 2006 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.         Zavada posted a 2.42 earned run average and a 5-3 record. In 70 2/3 innings pitched, Zavada struck out 90 batters and walked 39.
