Cameron Cheek Cory Bunner

May 12, 2005 Bunner, Cheek Named All-GLVC         Southern Illinois University Edwardsville baseball players Cameron Cheek (Atlanta) and Cory Bunner (Jacksonville) have been named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference teams.         Cheek garnered first team recognition as a starting pitcher for the Cougars. He recorded a 8-2 mark with one save and a 1.97 earned run average this season. Cheek fanned 53 batters in 82 and one third innings.         Bunner notched Freshman of the Year honors in the GLVC as well as being picked to the second team as an outfielder. The Cougar's center fielder was second on the club with a .320 batting average. Bunner collected 58 hits, 13 doubles, two triples, and 25 RBIs.         Bunner led the team with a .353 batting average and 49 hits against conference opponents.         SIUE finished their season with a 28-27 record overall and a 19-21 mark in GLVC play.                         -siue cougars-
