Tritsch Signs with SIUE Baseball
Eric Tritsch, a senior at Triad High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play baseball for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville next season. Tritsch, a middle infielder, is currently batting .463 for the Knights with 11 doubles, three home runs and 18 stolen bases. He has helped Triad to a 25-4 record and the Mississippi Valley Conference title. "He's a middle infielder who can turn the double play, hits the ball well and has good speed," said SIUE Coach Gary Collins. SIUE finished the 2003 season with the second-best record in Great Lakes Valley Conference play and with an overall record of 24-26. -siue cougars- |
