January 2, 2002 SIUE Baseball signs Ohlau Southern Illinois University Edwardsville has signed junior Craig Ohlau (Chester). Ohlau played one year at Southwestern Illinois College. The 6-foot-3-inch, 195-pound outfielder will not be able to join the Cougars this season but should be available for 2003. He recently had knee surgery. “Ohlau has the chance to be an outstanding player,” said SIUE baseball coach Gary Collins. “He has good physical skills. If he regains his speed after the surgery he will be a draftable player.” -siue cougars- |
