August 28, 2008 Robidou Joins SIUE Sports Information EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Bruce Robidou enters first year as the graduate assistant in sports information at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. A native of Trophy Club, Texas, Robidou will assist in the production of athletics publications and media relations for all 18 sports as well as the maintenance of the SIUE Intercollegiate Athletics site. Robidou has previously worked in sports broadcasting at KYOO radio in Bolivar, Mo., where he was the Sports/News Director, reporter for the daily morning news and the play-by-play voice of Bolivar High School Football and Basketball. A 2007 graduate of Southwest Baptist University with a degree in Sports Management, Robidou worked as a game operation intern with the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Desperados of the Arena Football league. He also has worked for Clear Channel Radio in Springfield, Mo., and KESN 103.3 ESPN Radio in Dallas, TX on the Mike and Mike in the Morning Show. He worked with the Wichita (Kan.) Wranglers Baseball Club, the Fort Worth (Texas) Cats Baseball Club, the Ft. Worth (Texas) Brahmas Hockey Club, and the Texas Rangers. Robidou is currently working toward a master's degree in Kinesiology. -siue cougars- |
