Several Cougars Named Academic All-GLVC
        EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Honored as the best, in and out of the classroom, 57 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville student-athletes have been named Academic All-Conference by the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) for the 2004-2005 academic year.
        To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must be a freshman or first-year transfer who attained a grade point average of 3.40 or higher during the fall semester. For a returning student-athlete, one qualifies for the honor if he or she has earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or has attained a grade point average of at least 3.40 in each of the preceding two semesters.
