Develop Comprehensive Strategic Planning Process

As part of the AQIP process, SIUE engaged in self-examination using the Baldrige Quality Criteria with the help of an external consultant, Mr. Joseph Kilbride.  In reviewing our various materials, Mr. Kilbride noted that SIUE lacked a strategic plan, although it did have in place many of the elements that would be part of a plan.  The first step in developing a plan is to engage a university-wide group in reviewing existing elements which could be incorporated into a strategic plan -- these include the mission, vision, values, statement on diversity, and long-term goals.
