After successful completion of this course students will have a
general knowledge of the theory and practice of reasoning, formal logic,
elements of the scientific method
Students were given a pretest
before beginning the section on determining if an argument used "good logic"
or "bad logic" and using reasoning skills to identify an object. After
covering the material in class, the students were then given a posttest
on the same information. The results
were as follows.
