What Naked? Bif Naked. Yes, there actually is a girl named Bif Naked. Born in India, raised in the United States and Canada, Bif's debut compact disc on Atlantic and second album released is definitely a standout.

The CD deals with Bif's religion, lust, love and sex on such tracks as "Moment of Weakness" and "Chotee." Her sound is compared to that of No Doubt but Bif is definitely not following in her footsteps. Bif's sound is a bit harder with a tad of old-school punk. Her voice is very smooth to entrance anyone who listens and her image itself is very eye-catching. If you aren't sure you have seen her on television or a poster, then you haven't seen her.

Her long, straight, black hair, big tattoos on her arms, heavy make up, lip piercing, and her clothes, make Bif stand out, without a doubt. But she hasn't been like this always. The 28-year-old singer has had her ups and downs in the past, having been in two other bands, Jungle Milk and Gorilla Gorilla. Gorilla Gorilla is the band she was in when she adopted the name of Bif Naked, deeming it "provocative, sexy, and very punk rock."

In 1995, a big event happened in Bif's life. After living the rock 'n' roll lifestyle for most of her life, she decided to go straightedge. That is, she doesn't do drugs, drink or eat red meat. Another part of being straightedge is not having sex. But Bif won't give that up.

Make sure you look out for Bif in the near future because she is slowly being noticed across the country. Her video is being played at least 12 times a week on MTV's "Buzzworthy" and rumor has it she will tour with Kid Rock in the fall.
