Computer sale returns

You've seen the commercials on television and heard them on radio. Yes, the Super Computer Sale is back.

The sale takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Gateway Center in Collinsville. Tickets are $7 for adults and children get in free.

More than 50 dealers will be selling new, used, overstocked and closeout computer products. Whether you are looking for a new computer or a software program, everything can be found at the sale.

The touring sale has been around for several years and has produced a variety of tales, from great deals to lemons. Computer experts always advise understanding what you are buying. Make sure any software or hardware attachments you might buy are compatible with your computer. Also, be sure to check any warranty that may come with the products and carefully examine any product, including the packaging and instructions.

Experts also advise getting the name, phone number and address of the seller in case of later problems. Remember, too, the price you pay does not necessarily guarantee its quality.

For more information on the sale, visit Super Computer Sale's Web site at http://www.supercomputersale.com.
