At SIU Edwardsville, Academic Counseling and Advising is an academic support service that focuses on the development of students. The purpose of Academic Counseling and Advising is to assist students in achieving their academic, career, and personal goals at the University.


It is the intent of AC&A at SIUE to help students understand the character of a university education, specifically regarding broad learning, self-understanding and self-determination.
